Have you ever tried to give God advice? The disciples certainly did that with Jesus, presuming they knew best. In this week's sermon we discuss the danger of thinking we know best and the blessings of simply giving our worries, concerns, and challenges to Jesus trusting that he will do what is best. "Give it to Jesus" - a sermon based on Matthew 14:13-21.

(Please click on the video👇 to see in full format) With over 100 children attending our Summer Camp (Soccer - Art - Bible Camp) we needed many volunteers! Thankfully, we had over 20 volunteers from our church along with two mission teams (one from Luther Preparatory School and one from Arizona Lutheran Academy) partner with us to make this camp a reality. A huge thank you to the amazing coaches, volunteers, and participants who made this Camp an amazing experience. And thank you to all the parents and grandparents who brought their kiddos to this Camp. It was a joy sharing God's Word with the children, learning new soccer skills, creating artistic masterpieces, singing songs, playing games and so much more!

This Sunday at 9am we will be celebrating 25 years of God's grace at Living Word. Members and friends of Living Word are invited to join us for this special anniversary celebration followed by a delicious brunch and many activities for all (including children's games and a bounce house!). Pastor Matt Frey (who served at Living Word Lutheran from 2006-2022) will be the guest preacher sharing a message based on Psalm 90. We hope you all can attend, please share this invite with others!
