Welcome to Monticello Baptist Church online! We’re grateful you’re worshiping with us today as we celebrate Father’s Day.
Today, we give thanks for fathers, grandfathers, and the many men who have faithfully invested in the lives of others. We recognize that godly men matter. Their influence can shape not only families, but generations.
At the same time, we recognize that Father's Day can stir a variety of emotions. Whether this day brings celebration, grief, gratitude, or longing, our prayer is that you will encounter the love, grace, and faithfulness of our perfect Heavenly Father.
Pastor David Artessa will be preaching a special Father’s Day message titled “The Ministry of Encouragement.” Drawing from the life of Barnabas in Acts 4, 9, and 11, we will discover how God uses encouraging believers to strengthen the weary, restore the struggling, and help others become all that He has called them to be.
In a world often marked by criticism, division, and discouragement, Barnabas reminds us that encouragement is far more than kind words. Encouragement sees needs and responds. Encouragement believes that God can change people. And encouragement helps others flourish.
As we worship together through song, prayer, and the preaching of God's Word, our prayer is that this service will encourage every father, every family, and every believer to become the kind of person God uses to strengthen others.
