What a wonderful day! Children’s Mission Day 2023 is in the books. We began our day learning about missions in Guinea. The children learned about life in Guinea from Rhonda Pepper who spent 20+ years serving the people of that area. We worked on thank you gifts for teachers and bus drivers. Operation Christmas Child reminders were made. We also had the opportunity to visit with and clean up the yards of several church members. Our day was completed with a prayer walk for Piedmont Academy, JCPS , and Washington Park. Special thanks to our volunteers!

These kids never disappoint. They worked so hard today on . The day started with games and worship with Pastor David Artessa. They learned about missions in the Philippines from Alan and Shirley Lustenburger. Riley Burton shared about her mission trip to Turkey. They were able to give out water to visitors at the market with Dominique Ford. Thank you bags were made for local law enforcement with Kristy Burton. Helped with a project for the food bank with Kim McMichael. Cooked brownies and cleaned up some yards for some of our senior adults. Yea Wow! They were busy!

What a great bunch of kids! We had fun today, painting, board games, water balloons, kickball, snow cones, and just hanging out with friends. Great youth helpers too!

This is a great group of kids! We had so much fun at Dauset Trails today. Several of these kids had not been kayaking before today but they did great!
