OPERATION RESET - ACTIVATE RE-ALIGNMENT
*** Update***

3 days left in this fast, we are going out with a bang!
Be strong, you can do it. Finish Big!

Here's the new list for the last 3 days...
August 29th - 31st

Please read ALL the list, things have changed

• continue -- portion size or portion control
•** (this one changes) WATER ONLY- PERIOD (only exception is liquid IV for those working out in the heat ) no more flavor packs in water.
NO JUICE! JUST PLAIN OLE' WATER
NO CAFFEINE - NO CARBONATED DRINKS-
(the only exception is: 👇
• ** continue -- Your morning coffee-- DECAF ONLY! cut in half. ( Yes, this time I really do mean HALF)
Example: if you normally drink 2 cups coffee, cut it down to 1 cup.
Also cut the sugar in your coffee to half amount of normal use.
•-- continue -- NO SWEETS PERIOD! NONE. no lil Debbie, no cookies, cake, ice cream even if it's sugar free. Only exception is your morning coffee.
• ---continue -- NO FRIED FOODS PERIOD! not even pan fried.
• **(this one changes) -- NO social media - PERIOD-- NONE - ZERO.....Only exception is to read the daily devotional and or watching the live video of sunday's preaching.
• continue -- no mindless shopping or scrolling/window shopping
• continue to push yourself to do more than is specified-- discipline
• continue --- no breakfast (this means NOTHING until your normal lunch hour) only exception is fruit & that is only for those who have medical reasons like you have to eat a lil something to take medication. So this means just enough for that, not mindlessly eating a whole bowl of fruit.
• Continue -- NO FOOD AFTER 9PM
• ** (changes) SET A 3 HOUR BLOCK DURING EACH DAY--
NO TV, NO PHONE, this includes txt, phone calls, social media, no phone period (except for real emergency) DURING THIS 3 HOURS, IT IS DEDICATED ONLY TO, PRAYER, READING AND STUDYING BIBLE & WORSHIP.
THIS CANNOT BE DURING WORK HOURS. It has to be during hours of the day when you normally would be watching TV or on your phone.
• **( this one changes) LUNCH -- veggies and bread only
•** DINNER-- NO BREAD
•** NO SNACKING IN-BETWEEN MEALS

Let's finish up the Lord's prayer
Matthew 6:9-13
Focus on vs. 13

And Lead us not into temptation...
This is a continuation from the verse above it
Forgive us our debts...
Vs. 13 begins with "and" don't lead us into temptation.
This doesn't mean that God tempts us!! No!
But he can allow the enemy to tempt us, to test us .
This is just asking God please don't allow the enemy access to me. Especially on the same thing that I just repented of. It's saying, LORD don't let me fall in that trap again. Keep me from it!
Guard my feet Lord, that I don't walk in that way again, guard my heart Lord, guard my ears and eyes and above all guard my mouth! That I don't speak any death or curse words. Lord, deliver me from the evil one.
It's ok to pray for yourself, in fact I encourage you to do so, everyday.
Ask God to cover you and guard you, so that you don't fall into any trap of the enemy.
Then the prayer ends with .
YOURS, LORD, IS THE POWER. there is no power higher!
YOURS, LORD, IS THE AUTHORITY, there is no authority above God's authority!
YOURS, LORD, IS THE KINGDOM, FOREVER!
The Lord's kingdom reigns on earth and in heaven.
This prayer begins with acknowledging God and his power and authority, and ends with the same.
It's like putting a barrier or a seal around your prayers, everything you've asked God, every person you've called out to him, it's all sealed in his power and authority. Your prayer has been sealed by the King in all his power and authority.

only 6 days left in this fast, things are about to tighten up. This DETOXING & DISCIPLINE was meant to show us what we really are addicted to.

It was also meant to bring us closer to God.

Here's the list for the next 3 days...
August 26th - 28th
