This has been a busy weekend for our men’s ministry. Our men gathered this morning for the iron man breakfast with brother Micheal Suber sharing the devotion. Mickey George, Steve Ransom, and David Levie may their world Renown famous pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs! We made the last Saturday of every month, so men of Macon County join us for the next one!

What a wonderful time we had at the Oaks nursing home and rehab center today as we celebrated with the residents who had birthdays in the month of August! We sang, ate cake and drank lemonade. Each birthdayee received a small gift from Taylor Mill Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Montezuma. This is a monthly ministry hosted by our women’s ministry. Here are some pics of the wonderful time we’ve had.

We had a great time this morning with mugs and muffins. Thank you so much for the two other churches represented this morning one all the way from Florida and the other our neighbor Taylor Hill Baptist Church. Our other sister church that normally is in attendance, Ellaville Baptist had a ministry function going on, and they could not make it this morning, and we sorely miss them. It was a great time laid by FBC M women’s ministry director Dianne Walker. The women were able to discuss all types of ministry opportunities and make plans to support the ministries that are being adopted. There is a women’s ministry conference coming up next month on the date of our mugs and muffins, and so we decided that we are going to be going to that conference . It is a one day conference at Bethel Baptist Church in Americus. For more information contact the church office or Dianne Walker.

There are always things that come up on a Saturday at church that needs someone’s attention when it comes to mechanical, the air conditioner going out during some of the hottest days of the year, or lights not working. We have an AC guy here working on the air conditioner, and our own guys working on replacing lights!

Hey folks, be sure to join us in person or on Facebook this Sunday morning at 11 AM as we begin the service with baptism and we close it out with the observance of the Lord’s Supper! Maybe with help from the Holy Spirit, revival will break out in between!

Join us tomorrow at 11 AM as the Henderson‘s, with over 50 years of musical evangelism experience will be leading our worship! We are expecting God to do great and mighty things, for we serve a great and mighty God! We will receive a love offering for them and their ministry! Bible study at 9:45 AM and then worship begins at 11 AM, hope to see you!
