Our really got into the theme while discussing how they could “think before they act” when faced with some real-life questions. We had a host complete with microphone and many willing participants!

We’ll be holding an ATNKids Famiky Night this Wednesday 10/23 at 5:30pm at the church. Join us for a shared meal, some friendly family competition and a discussion of this month’s virtue and what the Bible has to say about it.

April has been about patience (in elementary) and shining Jesus’s light (in preschool). When you’re cuddled up or telling your kids goodnight this week, here are some prayers to use!
•
May means new themes: “Training Camp” and what it means to be committed (for our elementary schoolers) and some important faith skills that we want our littlest Jesus-followers to carry around with them forever in their “Little Red Wagon” (for our preschool-age friends). We hope to see your kiddos there!

Our elementary group challenged themselves this weekend, to be slow and steady, take their time and be patient. This isn’t always second nature for a kid - or anyone for that matter! 😬

But we can remember that God has a plan that’s always on time, never rushed and never late. When we think we can’t wait, we can think twice and ask God to help us grow in patience!

We’ve had a PHENOMENAL summer moving and grooving and talking about FAITH together in ATNKids!
•
These smiling faces bring so much lightness and joy to and we recognize that they are an integral part of our faith family and they need Jesus-followers in their corner!
•
In Mark 9:36-37, when His disciples are arguing over what makes one the greatest, Jesus says that serving is the key, and soecifically that “whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”
•

Don’t forget that you can bring a bike, skateboard, scooter, rollerblades - basically whatever you like and are proficient at! - to church on Sunday mornings this summer!

We’re moving together - our June/July theme is “Ready, Set, Move!” after all - before we learn about people in the Bible who showed incredible FAITH and how having FAITH in Jesus can take us on all kinds of adventures!

Our made rose-colored glasses this week because having in Jesus changes how we see things. It turns our fears into merely obstacles that we can overcome. It turns our anxiety into energy to live out God’s mission.

Our observed some (pretty delicious 😋) changes this past weekend.

They also learned that when we forgive someone, it can change them for the better. Jesus showed love, generosity, and forgiveness to Zacchaeus and his heart changed A LOT! 💗
