Somewhere between the endless scrolling, constant notifications, busy schedules, and nonstop noise it’s easy to lose sight of what matters most.

This Sunday in our Real War series, we talked about The Battle for Your Attention and the truth that what captures our attention eventually shapes our hearts. In a distracted world, Jesus invites us to slow down, fix our eyes on Him, and rediscover what truly brings peace, purpose, and life.

From powerful worship, to life-giving community, to the next generation learning about Jesus in Kids Ministry, we’re grateful for every moment spent growing together as a church family. 🙌🏼

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” - ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭25‬-‭27‬

Where do you see yourself when it comes to worry? Do you worry once in a while, a lot of the time, all the time? How does it affect your day, week, and beyond?

Ask the Lord to show you ways to release the worry and ask him for Scriptures to memorize and internalize. Each morning upon rising, invite him into your day to walk with you.

We’re highlighting one of our partners in the Monterey community, Set Free Monterey Bay.

This month is inviting 50 new Defenders to join their monthly giving community by June 30 — and every gift in May will be matched, up to $5,000.
 
Defenders provide the steady, monthly support that helps protect youth, equip our community, and walk alongside survivors of human trafficking as they rebuild their lives across Monterey Bay.
 
This isn’t just a fundraising campaign. It’s a community-building one — and we’re proud to stand with Set Free Monterey Bay in it.
 
Protection and healing don’t happen overnight, they happen because people within our community care consistently.

Today we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. On this Memorial Day, we honor their sacrifice, reflect with gratitude, and pray for the families carrying the weight of that loss every day. 🇺🇸

At 3:00 PM today, join us in a moment of prayer for Gold Star families, fallen service members, veterans, and all those impacted by the cost of freedom.

If there’s someone you’re remembering today, share their name in the comments. We would be honored to pray for them and their loved ones.

The enemy wants you confused about who you are. The world wants to define you by your past, your failures, your popularity, or your circumstances.

But Jesus says something different.
You are chosen.
You are loved.
You are created in the image of God.
You are not too far gone.
You belong to Him.

Your identity was never meant to be built on what changes. It was always meant to be rooted in Christ. 🙌🏽

Baptism Sunday will never get old. 🙌🏽

Today we celebrated stories of life change, bold faith, and people publicly declaring that Jesus has changed everything. In a world constantly trying to define who we are, we were reminded that our identity is not found in our past, performance, popularity, or mistakes, but in Christ alone.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” - 2 Corinthians 5:17
