Pick your seat for worship tomorrow!

If you worship at 8:00am, we’ll be outside for one of our final outdoor worship services of the season! Bring your own lawn chair and find your favorite spot on the grass. (If you forget your chair, don’t worry — we’ll have folding chairs available, too!)

If you worship at 10:00am, you’ll have a different decision to make... you can pick the most colorful, or coziest row you can find.

This Sunday, we’ll be blessing all of these beautiful quilts and Care Kits before they are packed up and sent through Lutheran World Relief to neighbors around the world. ❤️🌎

So whether your seat tomorrow is a lawn chair or a chair covered with a beautiful handmade quilt… we’ll save a spot for you!

🎉 MEMBERSHIP MONTH IS UNDERWAY AT ASCENSION! 🎉

Yesterday we kicked off Membership Month by welcoming a wonderful group of New Members into the Ascension family!

We also had a great time during Coffee Hour taking photos of lots of folks as we continue putting together our new church directory. 📸

🌧️ We are VERY grateful for the rain! It was much-needed!

The only downside is that the ground around the columbarium is soggy, and there’s still a chance of a few sprinkles tomorrow morning. Since our goal is to make the outdoor worship decision the night before — so everyone can plan accordingly — worship this Sunday will be INSIDE at both 8:00am & 10:00am!

There will be LOTS to celebrate indoors! We’re kicking off MEMBERSHIP MONTH, welcoming new members, and taking photos during Coffee Hour for our new church directory.

📖 Bible Studies are back!

After a little summer break, Ascension’s Tuesday Bible Studies return this Tuesday, August 18! Join us at 9:00am or 6:00pm as we dig into Scripture, ask questions, share conversation, and discover together what God’s Word might be saying to us today.
