Called. Equipped. Commissioned. Guest Speaker: Dr. Ora McGahee
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people…” — 1 Peter 2:9
We reign with the royalty of Jesus and belong to God’s holy nation. Because He is holy, we are called to live holy lives and remember that we are His own special people. While the world may try to make us feel insignificant, God sees us as precious and set apart—like beautiful stained glass crafted by His hands.
Before we were formed, God knew us and consecrated us for His purpose. “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee…” — Jeremiah 1:5
Our calling is not based on our past or present circumstances. It is God’s divine selection. He knows our name, He initiates the call, and He provides everything we need. When the authority of God rests upon you, you are equipped for the assignment.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God… that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” — 2 Timothy 3:16-17
The Word of God is our training manual. Through prayer, fasting, repentance, and surrender, God strengthens us to stand and fulfill the mission He has assigned.
Though we have all sinned (Romans 3:23), we have been crucified with Christ (Galatians 2:20), and His grace is sufficient for every weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). God has saved us, sanctified us, and called us to be dependable, responsible, and accountable servants.
Never allow insecurity to convince you that you’re unqualified for service. Your difference is delightful, and your assignment is intentional.
🙌🏾 God says: “I have called you, I have equipped you, and I have commissioned you.”
