In 998/999, the Patriarch of Antioch John III Polites answered a letter from a fellow bishop on the communion of infants. Anticipating a key difference between Eastern and Western Christians, as well as some of the theology of the Protestant Reformation, he affirmed the historical practice of nourishing infants with the body and blood of Christ.

Поздравляю всех с воскресным днем, и началом нового богослужебного периода. Прошли все праздники, связанные с Пасхой, в том числе, наш престольный праздник в честь Пресвятой Троицы. Чтобы продолжить наш общий путь, надо приготовить храм к летним месяцам и летним праздникам. Потому прошу всех, кто может, прийти в следующую субботу, 20 июня, будем убирать церковь и церковную территорию. Кто не может прийти, прошу ваших пожертвований на новый бойлер, так как старый выработал свой ресурс, и совсем не хотелось бы заморозить церковь посередине зимы. Сделать это можно как на сайте прихода, так и в храме на кассе. Благословение Господне да пребывает со всеми вами и вашими семьями!
