We are a caring, passionate, and diverse congregation of creative and questioning people. We believe in a God of love. We believe God has called diverse and beautifully broken people together for the healing of the world. We believe that God is incarnate in Jesus Christ, still living, working, loving, in our East Side neighborhood and across the world in places like El Salvador and Palestine and o

ur national church the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We believe that the Holy Spirit is working in our world, inside and outside the church. We believe that it is the church’s responsibility to learn from the world, love the world, and be hopeful about the world. We believe that everyone, every life, every person, deserves a community to call home and a loving advocate. We believe that God calls each one of us to make a meaningful impact in our world and in the lives of those around us. We believe many things. But our belief is not a badge of honor that we wear over you or a correct set of doctrines that we judge you by. Our belief is alive and active for the purpose of love. Join us tonight for the Easter Vigil! On Holy Saturday we keep watch and wait with anticipation for the good news of Easter. Tonight is the heart of our celebration of the Three Days and the pinnacle of the church year. At the Easter Vigil, we gather around fire, word, water, bread, and wine, to remember the ways that God has been bringing life out of death from the very beginning! We’ll gather around the fire outside (weather permitting), and then process throughout the church to hear stories, remember our baptism, and to share in communion. The service concludes with festive drinks and treats in the Mary Martha room!

Join us around 6:45pm as we light the fire and sing some songs. The service will begin at 7pm.

Parents, please note that our nursery will be staffed tonight from 7-8:30pm.

Join us for Good Friday Worship! On Good Friday, we remember Jesus’ death on the cross. In our service, we’ll hear the story of Jesus’ crucifixion and read the seven last words of Jesus. Interspersed in the readings, we’ll hear reflections from members of our congregation and special music. We are grateful to have Pr. Eli Henry and students from the Corner House participating in this service with us. The service begins at 7:00pm and will be livestreamed on our YouTube Channel.
