What a wonderful day celebrating 200 years of God’s faithfulness at First Baptist Church! 🎉⛪
This past Sunday, we gathered together for our Bicentennial Celebration, reflecting on where God has brought us, celebrating what He is doing today, and looking forward with excitement to where He will lead us next.
Our worship service was filled with meaningful moments as we heard testimonies from members of our congregation, words from both former and current pastoral leadership, and even enjoyed a special historical reflection interview with our founding pastor, Reverend Kincaid, bringing a little of our church’s history to life. Most importantly, we joined our voices together in worship, praising the same faithful God who has sustained this church for two centuries.
Following the service, we continued the celebration with a church picnic, fellowship, food, and time together. Then, as the sun went down, we concluded an incredible day with a drive-in movie in the church parking lot! 🎬🍿
We are so thankful for everyone who joined us and for all those who worked behind the scenes to make this celebration possible.
For 200 years, God has been faithful. Generations have worshipped here, heard the Gospel, grown in their faith, served their neighbors, and carried the message of Jesus beyond these walls.
As grateful as we are for our history, we believe God is not finished yet. May we continue faithfully following Christ and sharing His love with our community for generations to come!
To God be the glory for 200 years of ministry—and for all that is still ahead! ❤️

🎉 Bicentennial Celebration! 🎉

Whether you currently attend First Baptist Church, attended years ago, grew up at FBC, have family connections to the church, live in the Milton community, or have never visited us before—we would love for you to join us as we celebrate 200 YEARS of ministry in Milton!

⛪ Sunday, August 23
We’ll begin with a special Bicentennial Worship Service at 10:30 AM, giving thanks to God for His faithfulness through generations and celebrating all He has done through FBC.

🥳 Following the service, join us for a church picnic and yard games. Come enjoy good food, reconnect with old friends, make some new ones, and celebrate together!

🎬 Then come back in the evening for a Drive-In Movie in the church parking lot, featuring Pelican’s SnoBalls! 🍧
For 200 years, First Baptist Church has been blessed to be part of the Milton community, and we want our whole community to celebrate this milestone with us!

What a summer it has already been!
After serving at two incredible mission camps, our students and leaders have spent countless hours loving people, sharing the Gospel, and being the hands and feet of Jesus. We are so proud of how they have worked hard to make a difference in the lives of others.
Now it’s time for the “play hard” part of our Work Hard. Play Hard. Summer as we head to the Glory Barn Retreat! We’re looking forward to a weekend filled with fun, laughter, deeper friendships, and time growing closer to the Lord together.
Please be praying for safe travels, meaningful conversations, lasting memories, and that God would continue the work He has already begun in the hearts of our students this summer.
