Sometimes our plans change unexpectedly.

An opportunity disappears. A door closes. Something we worked toward doesn’t happen the way we hoped.

Not every closed door is God closing it. But even when life takes an unexpected turn, we can seek His wisdom for what comes next.

The Apostle Paul had plans to preach the gospel in certain places, but the Holy Spirit redirected his journey. Paul followed, and the gospel reached people he hadn’t originally planned to visit.

Paul had a plan. God redirected the journey. And Paul followed.

Maybe the question isn’t, “God, why didn’t this work out?”

Maybe it’s, “Lord, what do You want me to do now?”

TODAY’S CHALLENGE Ask God to show you where you may be holding too tightly to your own plans.

PRAYER Lord, I want Your wisdom more than I want my way. Give me a willing heart to follow wherever You lead. Amen.

Trust Him With What You Cannot Control

One of the hardest things about trusting God is surrendering our need to understand everything.

We want explanations. We want guarantees. We want to know how everything will turn out.

But God asks us to trust Him with all our hearts, not just the parts of life that make sense.

You may be facing a situation you didn’t expect, a decision you don’t know how to make, or a future that feels uncertain.

God’s faithfulness is not dependent on your ability to figure everything out.

TODAY’S CHALLENGE Identify one concern you’ve been carrying. Instead of worrying about the outcome, surrender it to God in prayer.

PRAYER Father, I surrender what I cannot control. Teach me to rely on Your wisdom rather than my own understanding. Amen.

We all have plans. We have dreams, expectations, and ideas about how life should unfold. But sometimes God leads us in directions we never anticipated.

That doesn’t mean He’s forgotten about us.

God sees what we cannot see. He knows what lies ahead, even when we’re uncertain about tomorrow.

You don’t have to understand everything today to trust the God who holds tomorrow.

Faith doesn’t require knowing the next five steps. Sometimes it simply means trusting God enough to take the next one.

TODAY’S CHALLENGE What is one area of your life where you need to stop demanding answers and start trusting God?

PRAYER Lord, help me trust Your wisdom when I cannot see the way ahead. Give me the faith to take the next step with You. Amen.
