Such a wonderful evening at our Sacred Heart CCW March meeting celebrating an early St. Patrick’s Day and hosting a baby shower for Women’s Help Center! Thank you to Nancy Basham for being our guest speaker and to Father Donal for sharing some laughs. We even enjoyed a few rounds of bingo!

Thank you to all our generous ladies for the beautiful gifts for the moms and babies served by WHC, and to the Scrappy Sewers for the handmade blankets, quilts, bibs, birth clothes, and little bears. We are so blessed! 💚

Today we celebrate the faith, strength, and love of women everywhere. Inspired by our Blessed Mother and the many holy women who have gone before us, may we continue to serve our families, our parish, and our community with joyful hearts.

Grateful for all the wonderful women of our Sacred Heart CCW who live their faith through prayer, service, and friendship. 💐

Please join us in keeping our DCCW sister Diane and her family in your prayers following the passing of her beloved husband, Marquis Bilodeau, on February 23, 2026.

We pray for the repose of Marquis’s soul and for comfort and peace for Diane, her family, and their church family at Our Lady of Consolation.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. 🙏

Nassau Funeral Home | provides complete funeral services to the local community.

As we prepare our hearts for Ash Wednesday, let us enter this holy season with humility, hope, and trust in God’s mercy.

Lent is an invitation… to seek forgiveness, to reflect on the areas of our lives that need healing, and to grow in grace. It is also a call to love and serve others more deeply, especially those who are suffering.

May we walk this Lenten journey together as sisters in Christ, encouraging one another in prayer, sacrifice, and acts of love. 💜

“Create in me a clean heart, O God.” – Psalm 51

💗 Happy Galentine’s Day from Sacred Heart CCW! 💗

Today we celebrate the incredible women who shape our Church, our families, and our community with faith, strength, and love.

“The Church cannot be herself without woman and her role.” – Pope Francis

What a beautiful reminder that each of us has a unique and powerful place in God’s plan. From saints to mothers, leaders to quiet prayer warriors, women have always carried the heart of the Church forward.

Grateful for the sisterhood we share at Sacred Heart and the blessing of walking this faith journey together. 💕

This February CCW member meeting was truly wrapped in love 💕

From the moment we walked in, you could feel it. Our board members even decorated the sweetest cupcakes with the Sacred Heart of Jesus ❤️🧁 — little reminders that His love isn’t just something we talk about… it’s something we celebrate, share, and taste!

We were so blessed to listen to Carol speak so beautifully about Jesus’ love for us — how He is always there, simply waiting for us to reach out our hands so He can fill them… and our hearts. What a powerful reminder that His love is constant, patient, and personal.

And of course, one of the greatest blessings is being together — sharing food, laughter, stories, and the comfort of each other’s presence. Faith, fellowship, and the gift of love all around the room.

So grateful for this sisterhood. ❤️
So grateful for hearts filled to the brim.

On this Third Sunday of Advent, we pause our waiting to rejoice.
The Candle of Joy reminds us that even in anticipation, God’s joy is already among us.
May our hearts be lifted and our homes filled with His light. 💗🕯️

Today we rejoice in the Feast of the Immaculate Conception!
On this holy day, we honor Mary, full of grace from the very first moment of her existence, chosen to carry the Light that would change the world.

As we journey through Advent, may her purity, courage, and faithful “yes” guide our own hearts toward deeper trust in God’s plan.
Mary, Mother of Hope, pray for us and for our families. 💙

Wishing our CCW sisters and our parish community a blessed December 8.
