Have you ever heard someone say, “You’ll know them by their fruit.”? Some people also say that those who don't bear fruit are cast into the lake of fire. Is that shat the Bible says? Join us tomorrow as we see what the Bible says. We will also see: how one bears fruit, what is meant by casting into the fire, and what bearing fruit proves. In the Adult Sunday School we will be continuing our verse by verse study of Acts beginning in Acts 16:14. The Youth Sunday School will discuss Matthew 16:24-25 and its context, where Jesus speaks about losing and saving one's life. The Children will also be learning some exciting Biblical Truths. Who is our Helper as Christians? We will see that and more as we study, "The Helper," in John 14:25-31. We will see: who the Helper is, what Jesus gives, and how Jesus shows his Love for the Father. In the Adult Sunday School we will be continuing our verse by verse study of Acts beginning in Acts 16:8. The Youth Sunday School will discuss John 14:27 and how it relates to 1 John 5:13 and John 10:28-29. I will be contrasting these verses with the lordship salvation's paradox of grace. What does it mean when Christians aren't acting like Christians? We will see what it means and, "How to be aboded by Jesus and the Father," as we take a look at John 14:16-24. We will see: Who Jesus says He will send, how one will show their love for Jesus, and what the one who Loves Jesus and keeps His commandments has. In the Adult Sunday School we will be continuing our verse by verse study of Acts beginning in Acts 16:6. The Youth Sunday School will contrast that the Holy Spirit permanently indwells us when we believe, versus how abiding with Jesus and the Father requires ongoing fellowship and obedience. The Children will also be learning some exciting Biblical Truths. Sunday School Classes begin at 9:45am and the Main Service begins at 10:45am. Have you ever saw a Christian not acting like a Child of God? I definitely have. What can we know about that person? Tomorrow morning, at 2 Rivers Baptist Church, during the Main Service, we're going to see, "How to show our Love," as we take a look at John 14:7-15. We will see: Who Jesus said the Disciples knew because they knew Jesus, what Jesus showed by His Miracles, and how one shows their love for Jesus. In the Adult Sunday School we will be continuing our verse by verse study of Acts beginning in Acts 16:3 but we will probably start back at v1 to get a running start. The Youth Sunday School will be taking a look at Hebrews 4:12 and looking at some of the attributes of the Word. They'll see that the Word is and was Jesus (John 1:1-3, John 1:14, John 1:17, Revelation 19:13). They will be discussing how in the Gospel of John, it describes what Jesus's relationship was with the Father when he was living life on this earth as a man. The Children will also be learning some exciting Biblical Truths. Sunday School Classes begin at 9:45am and the Main Service begins at 10:45am.
