Gather in the Gym --the evening will include:
 Opening prayer and a message from Bishop O’Donnell

 Updates from: Safe Environment, Tribunal, Faith Formation, Stewardship & Parish Vitality, and Catholic Charities

 A deanery-wide listening session on families today, in preparation for the October 2026 meeting in Rome, when bishops
from around the world will gather with Pope Leo XIV for synodal discernment on proclaiming the Gospel to families today.
During the small-group discussion, we will reflect on the realities, joys and challenges facing families today, how our changing world
is affecting marriage, parenting and passing on the Catholic faith, and how our parishes can better accompany and support families.
Please discern and reflect on the following discussion questions prior to the meeting:
1. What are the biggest joys and challenges families are experiencing today?
2. How are changes in our world affecting marriage, parenting, caring for one another and passing on the Catholic
faith?
3. What are some examples of how parishes are helping families grow in faith and thrive?
4. What can we learn from families’ real-life experiences to better accompany them?

Your participation is important as we listen to the experiences of families in our local communities and consider how the Church can
more effectively walk with them.
