Day 21 of Close Encounters of the Holy Kind
Scripture: I Corinthians 3: 16, 17
16 Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?[a] 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.
As we conclude Close Encounters of the Holy Kind 21 day devotion, my prayer it will kickstart a year of Holy Encounters. It starts with reminding ourselves that we are God’s temple and we encounter Him every day because God Spirit dwells in us! How we treat our temple is important. This year we are believing God to move in some awesome ways; it will start in how He moves in each of us!. Let’s take care of our temples so we can encounter Him together and help transform this world to a more loving, God-fearing place AND that we help more people encounter Christ is their personal savior!

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for speaking to us during these 21 days. Thank you for allowing us to draw nearer to you as individuals and as a church. We appreciate you calling us to be your disciples and entrusting to share the Gospel. Continue to strengthen us when we are week, take a way our fears and help us to hear your voice more clearly. We know that this journey is not just for us alone, but for all that we encounter on the way. We love you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
