OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT | 3RD VICE PRESIDENT
The Missionary Baptist State Convention of Missouri, Inc. proudly congratulates Pastor T. L. Garner on his appointment to serve as 3rd Vice President of our historic Convention.
Pastor Garner serves as Senior Pastor of Second Missionary Baptist Church of Mexico, Missouri, where he continues to provide faithful pastoral leadership and dedicated service to the Church and community.
In his role as 3rd Vice President, Pastor Garner will provide regional leadership and oversight for the Southeastern Region of the State Convention, including Mexico, Missouri, and surrounding areas. He will work to strengthen relationships among pastors, churches, districts, and communities while encouraging greater participation and connection with the statewide work of the Convention.
Additionally, Pastor Garner will provide executive oversight for the Convention’s work in Social Justice and Grants. He will help advance initiatives addressing the needs of our churches and communities, strengthen Christian advocacy and community engagement, and ensure the Convention remains a meaningful voice for justice, equity, compassion, and service.
Through his leadership in Grant Development, Pastor Garner will also help identify funding opportunities and cultivate resources to strengthen Convention ministries, local churches, missions, outreach initiatives, community programs, and other efforts that advance our collective Kingdom work.
We celebrate Pastor T. L. Garner and pray that God will grant him wisdom, courage, compassion, favor, and discernment as he serves our Convention, strengthens churches throughout his assigned region, champions social justice, and helps create new opportunities for ministry and community impact.
