❤️ Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus ❤️

Join us on Wednesday, June 17 at 7:30 PM for a special evening of prayer at St. Benilde Catholic Church.

We will begin with 30 minutes of Eucharistic Adoration, followed by a Eucharistic Procession around our campus to bless the buildings and grounds of St. Benilde, and conclude with Benediction in the church.

All parishioners are invited to come pray with us as we consecrate our parish family to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. 🙏

Lectors play an important role in the liturgy by proclaiming God's Word and helping our parish hear and reflect on the Scriptures. If you feel called to share your gifts in this ministry, we would love to have you join us!

📖 A Letter from Archbishop James F. Checchio

As we prepare for the Archdiocese of New Orleans' consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Archbishop Checchio has shared a heartfelt letter inviting all of us to deepen our faith, strengthen our families, and draw closer to Christ.

In his message, the Archbishop reflects on the love and mercy of the Sacred Heart, encourages devotion through prayer, the Rosary, Eucharistic Adoration, and vocations, and shares details about the upcoming consecration and home enthronement of the Sacred Heart.

We encourage all parishioners to take a few moments to read this important letter and prayerfully consider how you and your family can participate in this special time of grace for our Archdiocese.
