The Catholic Charismatic Renewal of New Orleans (CCRNO) is a self-supporting office of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. MORE INFO AVAILABLE @ ccrno.org

CCRNO exists to glorify God, proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord through the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit, and to serve the Catholic Church in its renewal; and desires to renew the experience of Pentecost through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It began in 1969 under the leadership of Fr. Harold Cohen, S.J., and has pioneered Charismatic Renewal activities in this region since then. CCRNO spons

ors weekly, monthly and annual events designed to promote the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the lives of Catholics throughout the Gulf South. Our Mission Statement:
CCRNO exists to glorify God, proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord through the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit, and to serve the Catholic Church in its renewal. CCRNO desires to renew the experience of Pentecost in the people of God through the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the fruit of the Holy Spirit. CCRNO seeks to foster growth in life in the Spirit.

CCRNO Adult Prayer Meetings take place every Wednesday Night at St. Benilde in Metairie, starting at 7:30 PM

CCRNO Youth for Teens and Young Adults meet Sunday nights from 7:30 to 9:30 PM at the Archbishop Rummel High School Raider Room.

Join us at CCRNO this Sunday for Mr. Lorio takeover night! For one night only, Mr. Lorio will be back in the Raider Room and run youth group. We will have praise and worship, a talk by Mr. Lorio titled- “What does Pope Leo say about the Charismatic Renewal?” and week 3 of the summer games! This is one night you don’t want to miss, so spread the word and invite your friends!

We all have summer plans, whether it be work, vacations, volunteering, hanging out with friends, or even just a change of pace, but have you considered the Lord’s plan for your summer? Join us tonight at youth group as Carina Swonger dives into this topic and shares her own experience of the glory that can come from surrendering to Christ. We will also have time for praise and worship, prayer, small groups, and week two of the summer games! We hope to see you there, and encourage you to invite a friend!

Get excited everyone…we’ll be at Steubenville only 3 weeks from today! has challenged all conference attendees to memorize some key scripture passages leading up to the conference. First one up- the theme verse! Take some time this week to commit this verse to memory and ask the Lord to help you surrender everything to him.

[After recognizing them as disciples of Jesus] they called them back and ordered them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. Peter and John, however, said to them in reply, “Whether it is right in the sight of God for us to obey you rather than God, you be the judges. It is impossible for us not to speak about what we have seen and heard.” -Acts 4:18-20
This Sunday we had the joy of hearing how the Lord is working in the lives of so many of you! We encourage you to make a habit of asking the Lord to bring to your mind the ways he is working in your life, and then ask for the courage to share that with others! For similar to Peter and John, when we encounter the Lord- it is impossible for us not to speak about what we have seen and heard. To God be all the glory!

Congratulations to Darren Vicknair for being this year’s raffle ticket grand prize winner! We would additionally like to thank all of those who supported the CCRNO youth ministry through this raffle. This year alone over 20 teens were able to raise funds to attend the Steubenville Youth Conference with CCRNO this June. May the Lord bless you for your generosity!

Come Holy Spirit! Let the fire fall! We are so grateful for the 160 of you who joined us for our annual Pentecost Festival of Praise! The Holy Spirit moved in power and it was a joyous celebration.
