Our annual Corpus Christi Procession will be on Sunday, June 7, after the 8 am Mass.
As we process around the outside of the church on the Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, blessings from Our Eucharistic Lord will be extended over our Parish toward the north, south, east and west. Please join us in adoring Our Lord and imploring His much needed blessings.

Looking to deepen your prayer life? Not sure how to pray… or feeling like your old prayer practices just aren’t connecting anymore? You’re not alone — and this series is for you. Join us for a 4-week journey into meaningful, life-giving prayer rooted in the 500 year-old Ignatian tradition. Each week we’ll explore simple, powerful prayer forms — like the Examen, Lectio Divina, Imaginative Prayer, Colloquy, and more — that can strengthen your relationship with God and bring more peace, joy, faith, and hope to your daily life. These prayer practices are for everyone… including you.
Sessions will be led by Stephanie Clouatre Davis and held via Zoom from 6:30–7:30 p.m. on June 8, June 22, July 6, and July 20.
Register: nolacatholic.org/prayer-101. Cost is $40 but adjustments may be made. Come discover prayer practices that meet you right where you are — and breathe new life into your spiritual journey.

TONIGHT from 6–7 PM, St. Edward Parish will join every parish throughout the Archdiocese of New Orleans for a special Holy Hour before the Blessed Sacrament as we begin the Novena leading to the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
This is a beautiful opportunity for us to unite together in prayer — as one Church, one archdiocese, one people — asking the Lord to renew our hearts, our homes, our families, and our parishes through the love of His Sacred Heart. During this holy hour, we will also invite families to prepare to enthrone the Sacred Heart in their homes as a visible reminder that Christ desires to dwell at the center of our lives. Join us tonight as we spend this sacred hour with the Lord.
