Beginning tomorrow, Catholics across the country are invited to join a nationwide novena in preparation for the consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart this June.

As part of the Church’s observance of our nation’s 250th anniversary, this historic act calls us to renew our devotion to the Sacred Heart, place our trust more deeply in Christ, and seek to live the Gospel with greater faith and charity. Next Sunday (June 7) we will celebrate the Solemnity of Corpus Christi—a special feast honoring the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Following the 10:30 am Mass, all are invited to join in a Eucharistic procession to St. Mary, giving public witness to our faith. Bus transportation back to St. Anthony will be available. We hope you will join in the procession or pray along the route. You can sign up for a specific role in the procession (canopy bearers are always appreciated) here:
