In Sunday's sermon, we learned that the Christian cross is anything and everything that a Christian suffers because of their connection to Jesus.

What cross are you carrying right now?

Maybe it's facing rejection from someone you love.
Maybe it's standing firm in your faith when it's unpopular.
Maybe it's a hardship that has left you wondering where God is.

The temptation is to set down our cross and walk away.

But Sunday's message reminded us to look at our cross through the lens of Christ's cross.

The cross of Christ looked like weakness, foolishness and death...but through the eyes of faith, we see God's power, wisdom and salvation.

So this week, when your cross feels heavy, remember: God has not abandoned you. He is with you.

What would it look like to embrace your cross this week, trusting in the One who walks with you through it?

Please join us Sunday at our 9:30 AM service in Germantown as we install Staff Minister Daniel K**k as our new Director of Early Childhood Ministry!

We’re excited to welcome Mr. K**k, his wife Mateja, and their three daughters into the Bethlehem family. A lunch will follow the service. We hope you can join us!
