This past week we had the opportunity to serve one of our neighbors by doing some much-needed yard work. We are so thankful for a church family that reflects Christ's love through a willingness to serve and care for others.

As Galatians 5:13 reminds us, "Serve one another humbly in love." What a blessing to live that out together.

It was a joy to come together and be a blessing, and we are grateful for the chance to make a difference in our community.

Our Women's Ministry recently gathered for our annual Women's Retreat, April 16-18.

This year's theme, "Nothing is Wasted," reminded us that God can and will use every part of our story - our mistakes, pass hurts, and even our difficult seasons- for His glory and purpose.

As shared in 2 Corinthians 4:7-18, "But we have treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us...." What a beautiful reminder of His strength in our weakness.

If you are looking for a place to grow, connect, and be encouraged, we would love for you to join our Women's Ministry. Come visit us at one of our services.

This past weekends, our BOW (Brotherhood of Whitten) men's group headed out for a camping trip.

We stepped away from the noise of everyday life and leaned into stillness, trading distractions for meaningful time in God's Word.

It was a weekend where friendships grew, faith was deepened, and hearts were realigned with what truly matters.

If you are looking to connect with a group of men who love the Lord and are committed to growing in their walk with Jesus Christ, we would love for you to come and check it out and see if it's a good fit for you!

We've been doing a little spring refresh at Whitten Baptist Church this week- fresh lines in the parking lot!

Easter Sunday is almost here; we want you to know this is a place where YOU belong! Whether it's been a while or this is your first time, you are invited, wanted, and welcome!

Our team has been working hard to make everything ready- from the parking lot to the service- so you can come in, feel at home, and focus on what truly matters.

Join us this Sunday for our Easter Service at 10:30am. Bring your family, invite a friend, and come celebrate the hope and joy of the resurrection with us!

We can't wait to see you!

We had an incredible time at our 2nd Annual OAGW Ride this past Saturday! 🏍️✨

Riders came together for an amazing motorcycle ride, creating a powerful sense of unity and purpose as we traveled the route. It was more than just a ride—it was a visible reminder of strength, support, and standing together for a cause that matters. The energy, fellowship, and shared mission made it such a special experience for everyone involved.

OAGW (Overcoming Abuse God’s Way) is a powerful ministry focused on healing, restoration, and freedom. We were blessed to hear from some incredible women who courageously shared their testimonies—stories of strength, faith, and transformation.

If you or someone you know could benefit, OAGW classes are held every Sunday at 4 PM with Angela Snipes in the Annex.

On Sunday, March 22, we hosted an outreach initiative titled Operation Doulos. The term “Doulos,” derived from Greek, means servant or bondservant, reflecting our heart to serve others with humility and purpose.

With a team of 80 dedicated volunteers, we worked together to clean up trash along Whitten Road, demonstrating care for our community through both action and presence. This effort was more than a cleanup—it was an opportunity to build connections, represent compassion, and be a visible expression of service to those around us.

Through Operation Doulos, we were reminded that even simple acts of service can make a meaningful impact when done collectively and with the right intention.

Galatians 5:13
"For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."
