Our vision is to be a growing, generous, healthy, impactful church family; one that transforms lives, serves our community, and develops leaders for the next generation. In addition to regularly scheduled Sunday worship services, we offer Sunday School, Bible Studies, Children’s Church, Youth Ministry, Seniors/Retirees ministry, plus a wide variety of other programming for the entire family and co

mmunity. Our community ‘Manna Food Pantry’ is open every Monday and Wednesday from 10am - 1pm. Vernon Baptist Church, is a quiet and peaceful community located across from Westwood High School. It is reserved for independent-living seniors at least 55 years and older. Here at Mount Vernon, we aim to embrace and heal the community through the love of God and to see our lives transformed as we learn to apply God’s Word. SERVICE TIMES

Even when you cannot understand what God has allowed, trust that He can bring purpose and blessing from it. Choose to look beyond the clouds and find the good in the middle of what you are going through. Your circumstances may be difficult, but there is still something to thank God for.
