From Bob Maas, Disaster Relief Team Leader - During the weeks of July 12, 2026, and September 13, 2026, St. Matthew, in partnership with Bethesda on the Bay Lutheran Church, will travel to Carter County Tennessee to provide disaster recovery assistance. We will drive to Tennessee on Sunday and return on Friday. Plans are close to being finalized for the two teams that will be serving in Carter County.

Last year the St. Matthew congregation was extremely generous supporting the trip. We were and are all very thankful. For those unable to join us this year, you can pray for the team, provide food donations for the trip, or support with a monetary gift. Also, if applicable, please consider designating a Thrivent Grant for this ministry.

Galatians 6:10 “So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are the household of faith.”

The Music Ministry of St. Matthew presents its "Season Finale", a musical celebration of its 2025-2026 Season. The community is invited to the free musical concert, featuring the Luther Choir, two Chimes Choirs and Brass... including St. Matthew's brand new baby grand Yamaha piano and new (three-manual) Allen organ. More than 500 years ago Martin Luther wrote, "Music is a gift of God. Next to theology, I give music the highest place and the greatest honor." St. Matthew is blessed with many gifted vocalists and instrumentalists, who willingly enhance our worship, giving glory to God. ALL ARE WELCOME!
