The Holy Trinity ✝️

Today we confess the one true God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three Persons in one divine essence. This mystery, revealed in Holy Scripture, is the foundation of our faith and life.
In Holy Baptism, our Lord places His Name upon us (Matthew 28:19), making us His own and bringing us into communion with the triune God.
We rejoice that the Father has created us, the Son has redeemed us, and the Holy Spirit sanctifies and keeps us in the one true faith.
“To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.” – 1 Timothy 1:17

The Day of Pentecost 🔥
Today the Church gives thanks for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, as recorded in Acts 2, when our Lord fulfilled His promise and sent the Comforter to His people.
Through the preaching of the Gospel, the Holy Spirit called 3,000 to repentance and faith in Christ Jesus. So He continues His work among us today—creating and sustaining faith through the Word and the Sacraments.
“And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” – Acts 2:21
On this Pentecost, we rejoice that the Spirit gathers, enlightens, and sanctifies the whole Christian Church on earth. He keeps us in the one true faith and sends us out to proclaim Christ crucified for the forgiveness of sins.
Come, Holy Spirit.
Create in us clean hearts.
Keep us steadfast in Your Word.
Join us as we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit and the life of Christ’s Church.
