We had a wonderful week at camp this year!!!
We kicked it off with Samuel Sey speaking about our “Citizenship in Heaven” and a group from Mt. Washington Baptist led us in worship.
Tuesday we left for Louisville and “The Nations Next Door” by Refuge International opened our eyes to the truth about refugees.
Erase everything you think you know about them and picture what it would be like to have only 15 minutes to leave your home because your family is being threatened to be killed by some pretty powerful people. You have a six month old, 1.5 year old, and a 5.5 year old to take care of as you run for your life…you have to move 3-4 times a day just to stay alive. You go through checkpoint after checkpoint praying that God would give you the courage to face death with peace knowing you may not make it to the next checkpoint to get to the airport to flee the country.
So please, pray for the refugees! They would rather be in their own countries than in America. ❤️🙏🏼
God has a heart for all the NATIONS…
[18] And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
