I Will Never! No human can ever say, “I will never . . .”, in truth, because people, circumstances, situations, and hearts change. The heading over my Amplified Version for Hebrews 13 is “The Changeless Christ”, because He is perfect! As imperfect people, love is not unfailing, nor is it permanent. We fail each other, judge each other, and sentence each other in our personal courtrooms. Oswald Chambers writes: “Never forge ahead with your religious common sense.” Religious common sense says just read your Bible more, pray more, go to church more, and these are the ways to God’s heart, if we are desiring more “holy intimacy” with Him and not to use as tools for judging and withholding unity in love and grace. It’s always easier to do than trust, work than believe, serve for God rather than with God. We are reminded in scripture that “nothing good lives in me,” so be careful what you promise or the judgments you make. Chambers also writes: “. . . there is no criminal half as bad as you yourself could be without His grace.” Never say never! (Ref: Hebrews 13:5; Romans 7:18)

At Nashville Rescue Mission, Spirit on fire in David! Totally spontaneous! No excessive planning could do it better❣️

As You Go! While establishing a relationship with two younger women last night at the Nashville Recovery Church, one of them gave me a couple of stickers she had made. One had the words “Jesus Gypsy” imprinted on it. I thought, “That’s me, and I receive it” and all the blessings that come with the title. Luke, the witness, writes Jesus’ words, “for forgiveness of sins would be preached in His (Jesus’) name to all the nations, . . .”. Then, Jesus makes it personal: “You are witnesses of these things.” These words are manifested in human lives as the calling and anointing are received to go and tell, whether in community, state, or beyond. Different callings, assignments, and being sent out for ministry and mission occur during all seasons of human existence. When Jesus was leaving the earth to return to His Father’s house, He encouraged the disciples. “In that day you will ask in My name, . . .” because they had loved Him and “believed that [He] came from the Father.” As you believe and receive, get ready to be a “Jesus Gypsy”, possibly, and as you go, remember: “For even though I am absent . . . I am with you in spirit, delighted to see” active discipline, stability in faith, and confidence through the Holy Spirit. (Ref: Luke 24:47-48; John 16:26-27; Colossians 2:5, 6-7)
