The Good Samaritan Center USDA Food Distribution will begin on Monday, June 16th and go through Thursday, June 19th. The distribution hours each day are from 8:30-12:00. Please drive to the side of the building by the overhead door and do not leave your vehicle. If you still need to sign up for USDA Foods, please stop by to complete a form. We would be glad to help you through this process. Please do not block any intersections while waiting in line for food distribution.

I’m looking for a couple of volunteers to help out weekly at the Good Samaritan Center. It would only be for 4 or so hours at a time and only one day per week (Friday 12-4). You are guaranteed to love what you do and love those you work with❤️. I am hoping to try something new at the center this summer and possibly continue on into the rest if the year, but I need help in order to do so. The plan is to open on Fridays starting in June from 12-4, if I can get the help. Currently, I have some youth that will be helping. I would just like to add a few dependable, trustworthy adults to the mix. Please private message Kim Howell with any questions you have.

Spring is in the air, Kentucky!
And with it comes LIHEAP Spring Subsidy. Central KY Community Action Council, Inc. is accepting applications for the program from April 15 to May 30, 2025.

This program is available to households with income up to and including 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, and you could qualify for an electric benefit. Assistance received during previous LIHEAP components does not affect your eligibility.
