Join us at Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church for our 1st Sunday Worship Service on Sunday, December 7th at 11:00 AM! Our Interim Pastor, Pastor Perry Overstreet, will be our speaker.

This has been a difficult year for our church family as we continue to navigate the loss of our beloved leader. Yet through it all, God has kept us, strengthened us, and held us together. As we move forward, we are determined to finish this year strong—together, in faith and in love.

Come worship with us as we honor God, encourage one another, and close out the year with our final service.

It is with heavy hearts that we, the members of Mt. Rose M.B. Church, announce the passing of our beloved Pastor, Rev. Perry Smith, who went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2025.

Pastor Smith faithfully served God’s people with humility, love, and dedication. His life and ministry touched countless souls, and his legacy of faith will continue to guide and inspire us for generations to come.

We ask for your prayers for his family and our church family during this time of mourning. Funeral and viewing details are below.
