"When our only daughter, Jody, was killed, we were in a terrible state of shock," says Denison, Iowa, farm woman Marilyn Auen. "We hadn't started harvest, and it didn't seem we could cope with the task after what had happened.
"One day I came across this Biblical promise, and I did try turning the frustration, grief and everything else I couldn't cope with over to the Lord. It was the best thing that ever happened to me, and I still take everything to Him.
"Even when it seems difficult to go ahead when you're grieving and don't understand why you need to suffer this loss and pain, somehow the Lord enables you to keep on trying.
"Our daughter was raised never to be a quitter, and she wasn't. I knew I could not quit either; I could not have her disappointed in me! God did help me so much, and I'm thankful I was able to give my burden to Him."

Just thought I would let all that read the weekly post know who collected this data.
Years ago I, Sis Christa and Our boys were privileged to go to a Bible Conference were we met a Bro. John McFarlen who was passing out DVDs where his wife who was disabled, he and their family had put together literature from multiple sources to help ministers in their ministry. 99% of the quotes and phrases you see each week come from that literature. I am very grateful for Bro. John, his precious wife and family for providing such material. I hope you enjoy!

We will be having renovations to our sanctuary starting today. We will be having services in our fellowship hall until those renovations are complete. We will not be on Facebook Live until the renovations are complete. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause during this time but we do thank our Lord Jesus for allowing us to get underway with this project.
