May 26-30, 2025. For VBS. We are going to have a rootin Tootin Good time. Time will be from 5:30-8:00 pm for grades Pre-K - 6th grade. Bring your kids and if anybody wants to Volunteer to be a helper, teach a class, help in the Kitchen , or Whatever - just let us know or just come. We love VBS and can't wait to see you there.

Our church would like to thank the George/Greene Baptist Association and all the churches involved for the support and love we have received through one of the hardest times we have experienced in many years. The loss of our pastor, Les Dale shattered the hearts of many. Even though we know he is enjoying his new body and life with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, our human hearts will miss him terribly for many many years. The outpouring of love, the physical help in the form of food and every day tasks, the "what else can we do, call us please if you need anything " from churches and friends all over exemplifies the love we have for one another. In honor of Bro. Les we challenge each and every one to follow his example. Never pass up a chance to talk to friends and strangers alike about what Jesus will do in your life if you get to know him. Invite people to your church and welcome them when they come. Part of his last sermon to us he quoted James 1:16 and we would all do well to heed this. "Do not err, my beloved brethren " James 1:16. Until we meet again in the presence of our Lord, we love you Brother Les Dale.

Services for Bro. Charles Leslie “Les” Dale, of Leakesville, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church of McLain. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Lucedale. Visitation for Bro. Les will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Friday also at the church. His complete obituary can be found at www.jonesandsonfh.com

Funeral services for Ms Ola Mae Ishee will be Wednesday. Sept 11. Family visitation will be at 10; public visitation at 11 and the funeral at 12. There will be no graveside services. Please keep her family in your prayers.
