Our own Jarid Warren came under the care of the presbytery at the meeting on March 7. Congratulations, Jarid - we cannot wait to see where your call will lead! Also, that's JSue Staten asking him the constitutional questions! Gwen Warren was there, too, supporting Jarid. It was a very good day!

During our March meeting, the Congregational and Minister Care Committee presented Jarid Warren for consideration as a candidate for ministry. He was successfully examined and was accepted. Congratulations to Jarid - we are excited to see the path to ministry that is unfolding for you!

Even though the ice storm kept us from having the January or February fellowship meals, everyone still got their name on the cake! Our March fellowship meal was a good time for all, with good food and plenty of laughter around the table!

Our parking lot is still covered in ice and unsafe, so out of an abundance of caution, services are canceled for Sunday, Feb. 8th. Here's hoping this will be the last of the winter weather!

Today is Denomination Day - the birthday of the Cumberland Presbyterian denomination. We continue to be thankful for our founders who stepped out in faith to do a new thing! 216 years and counting!

Y'all, the snow and ice are coming. Out of an abundance of caution, the session has decided to cancel our services for Sunday, January 24, 2026, as well as our fellowship meal scheduled that day. Stay in, stay safe, and we'll see you again soon!
