1 year later — we press on with the same love and passion for the Gospel as our late Pastor Ron Smith.

Today we honor him as one of the many saints that came before him. We continue to proclaim the Lord Jesus to every area of life.

Until the whole world comes to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!

Church of the King McAllen invites all members, friends, and family of Dr. Ron D. Smith to join us for a celebration of life on May 17th at 10:30am.

Refreshments will be served after service.

Church of the King joined forces with local and national musical artists to lift the name of Jesus Christ in McAllen’s Idela Park! It was a great time for music, fellowship, prayer, and entertainment that glorified God. Looking forward to seeing more events in the community that bring all believers together to Worship the Triune God!

Last night our church ⛪️ leaders attended the mcallenpregcenter Decision Points Gala to celebrate the work that has been done to help women have access to healthcare and support.

The McAllen Pregnancy Center has offered help to 1000s of families and continues to be a beacon of hope for those seeking help in desperate times of need.

We support the work and will continue to pray that more resources and volunteers pour into this great ministry.

We were honored to join the McAllen Camp Gideons for their annual Pastor’s Appreciation Banquet. We appreciate all the support from the Gideons. We thank God for their dedication to share the Word, pray for pastors, and for their faithfulness to serving in churches.

Today our church ⛪️ leaders joined the City of McAllen TX Government officials for the annual State of the City address. We had an opportunity to share with our elected officials, peace officers, first responders and others city employees that we are praying for them. 🙏🏼

➡️ We have hope for the future and at Church of the King we believe in getting involved in all areas of life from politics to the playground. 🛝

Great time! The BiG Game BBQ was fun for the whole family! Kids played football, BBQ was delicious, and Checkers matches were a bigger HIT than the Game!

The cross was victory, not defeat, and the risen King is advancing His reign now. Hope isn’t wishful thinking; it’s certainty.

Reject defeatism. Christ reigns over history.
