This past week Church of the King McAllen hosted Dr. P. Andrew Sandlin for the 2026 Edinburg Theological Seminary graduation ceremony. We are blessed to support the educational recognitions of students and wish them much success.

In addition, he offered a special teaching on Prayer along with the Sunday Morning Worship Service message. We are grateful for the support of Dr. Sandlin as he continues to offer wise biblical counsel and instruction to help our local church thrive.

1 year later — we press on with the same love and passion for the Gospel as our late Pastor Ron Smith.

Today we honor him as one of the many saints that came before him. We continue to proclaim the Lord Jesus to every area of life.

Until the whole world comes to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!

“Side with God against yourself and be blessed”
- Pastor Ron Smith

Church of the King McAllen invites all members, friends, and family of Dr. Ron D. Smith to join us for a celebration of life on May 17th at 10:30am.

Refreshments will be served after service.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Church of the King or the charity of your choice.

Last night our church ⛪️ leaders attended the mcallenpregcenter Decision Points Gala to celebrate the work that has been done to help women have access to healthcare and support.

The McAllen Pregnancy Center has offered help to 1000s of families and continues to be a beacon of hope for those seeking help in desperate times of need.

We support the work and will continue to pray that more resources and volunteers pour into this great ministry.
