Good morning beautiful sisters! This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it!☀️

Your Battle is Won🙌🏼❤️

Have you ever felt overwhelmed by your circumstances or wondered why you keep fighting the same struggle?

Jesus taught us that life as a Christ-follower will be difficult. Our world is filled with broken people—ourselves included—who do broken things. There will be trials and challenges.

When Adam and Eve decided to pursue something “good” apart from God, their decision allowed evil to enter the world. This means there is a spiritual battle that we cannot see, and it impacts our everyday lives.

When we give our lives to Jesus, we join His team—but this also means we become a target of the devil, our enemy. Every bad thing that happens to us is not necessarily a direct attack from Satan—sometimes it’s just a result of living in a fallen, broken world. But there is a spiritual element to every situation because the devil is always trying to draw the world away from God, and he is looking for people to destroy.

When struggles happen, the devil will try to get you to believe lies about God, your situation, yourself, or other people. He will try to get you to doubt your identity and your God-given authority. But God, who has victory over Satan, is always fighting for you.

Nothing can overcome God, and so when we rely on God—nothing can overcome us.

In every situation, we are more than conquerors because God deeply loves us. This is why we don’t have to be afraid of the spiritual fight—God has already won it. We need to remind ourselves of this truth so that way we can withstand the attacks from Satan when they come.

But attacks will end—because God will win.

So today, fill your mind with truth. Hold fast to your faith and guard your heart. Walk in peace toward everyone, and memorize Scripture so that way you can wield it as a weapon against any spiritual attack that comes your way.

And know that no matter what you face—God is already fighting for you. He is in control, and He will never leave you.

When you belong to God, you have the power to subdue, crush, and overthrow anything the devil throws at you. God’s power makes you more than a conqueror.

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

SMASH FEAR IN THE MOUTH

Most fears aren’t rational. Remember that.
As soon as you embrace your vision and decide that you’re going to launch your dreams into motion, the enemy will use anything and everything to immobilize you with fear. Fear can stop you in your tracks. Fear can be crippling. It takes only the slightest bit of fear to crush your faith and derail your dreams.
What prevented the army of Israel from accepting Goliath’s challenge? What stopped the soldiers from defending the honor of the God they served? What terminated their dream of conquering the Philistines and winning the hand of King Saul’s daughter in marriage? What quashed every soldier’s vision of killing the giant and being hoisted onto the shoulders of his fellow soldiers for a victory parade through the streets of Israel?
Fear.
Let’s break down 1 Samuel 17:24: “As soon as the Israelite army saw him [Goliath], they began to run away in fright.” Israel was God’s chosen nation. They were his people. He had called them to greatness. They were dressed for battle and backed by the Creator of the universe, but they weren’t doing anything . . . because they were afraid. They simply sat on the sidelines, dejected and intimidated.
From a strictly human perspective, their fear was understandable. Goliath was one big dude. And he was mean, to boot. So when they saw the giant, “they began to run away in fright.” That’s what I would have done. That’s probably what you would have done. That’s what we’d all do. When it comes down to fight or flight and there’s a giant involved, flight is the sane and rational play. Fear can talk us out of anything, but it doesn’t have to. That’s where faith and courage come in.
Courage doesn’t mean you’re not afraid. Courage means that, in spite of your fear, you’re going to step out and face the challenge anyway. Courage means you’re going to smash fear in the mouth, pin it to the ground, and force it to tap out!
WHAT FEAR DO YOU NEED HELP OVERCOMING?

“Whenever the Israelites saw the man, they all fled from him in great fear.”
‭‭~1 Samuel‬ ‭17‬:‭24‬ ‭

“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”
‭‭~2 Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.””
‭‭~Joshua‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬ ‭‬‬‬‬‬

EMBRACE YOUR CAUSE

Have you ever witnessed an injustice and thought to yourself, Why doesn’t somebody do something? YOU are some body. When David arrived in the valley of Elah, he found a bunch of soldiers—including three of his own brothers and Saul, the king of Israel—sitting in fear of the giant, Goliath, and muttering, “Somebody should do something.”
If David hadn’t stepped forward to slay Goliath—if he hadn’t embraced his cause—it is likely that the Israelites would have lived in bo***ge under the Philistines. Nobody else was answering the call. Nobody else was doing anything. While they all sat on the sidelines, David got in the game. He responded in faith and did something.
The apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians that we are God’s masterpiece, “His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” The bottom line is that God has prepared all sorts of good works for you to do, and He wants to use you even more than you desire to be used. His plans are good plans, faith-building plans, Kingdom-establishing plans.
What’s your cause? What’s your dream? What’s your vision? What is God asking you to do? What are the yearnings of your heart? When David later became king of Israel, he wrote a psalm that says, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
Dream. Dream big. Dream so big that the only way you can ever pull it off is if God steps in. It’s difficult to comprehend that God wants to launch your dreams into motion even more than you want to.
Is it possible you’re all dressed for battle but sitting on the sidelines because of some giant standing before you? Or maybe you gave up on your dream a long time ago. Today is the day to pick it back up, dust it off, give it to God, and let Him set it into motion.
WHAT DREAM DO YOU WANT GOD TO RESURRECT?

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
‭‭~Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬ ‭

“Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
‭‭~Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭4‬ ‭

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
‭‭~Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭3‬ ‭‬‬‬‬‬‬

Make a Difference 🙏 🔥

Can one woman really make a difference in a community? What about in an entire nation? You might think the answer is no. But think again. When you read the story of Jehosheba in 2 Chronicles, you’ll realize that the answer is a wholehearted yes.
When Jehosheba realized that Athaliah was determined to destroy the royal line of Judah, she bravely hid her nephew Joash in the temple until he was old enough to succeed to the throne. When Joash was seven years old, he ascended to the throne and later repaired the temple and tore down the altars to Baal. More important, he preserved the Messianic line. Jehosheba made a difference in the life of another person; but she also made decisions that affected the outcome of a nation, and ultimately, it made a difference for all of humanity. Because of Jehosheba’s courage at this time in history, “our Lord descended from Judah” (Hebrews 7:14).
In the eleventh century, a woman of noble birth impacted a nation. Princess Margaret was exiled with her family when the Danes overran England. Educated in Hungary, she returned to England during the reign of her great-uncle, Edward the Confessor. As one of the last remaining members of the Saxon royal family, she fled north to the Royal Scots Court during the Norman Conquest. Beautiful, intelligent, and devout, Margaret won the heart of the Scottish king, Malcolm Canmore, and married him in 1069. She is credited with instigating the reform of the Church of Scotland, which had reached a low point in its history. In her private life, Margaret avidly prayed and gave lavishly to the poor. Her position allowed her to free many Anglo-Saxon prisoners.
You may not see yourself as a woman of influence. You may feel shy about sharing your faith with your kids, friends, family, or co-workers. But there are many ways you can make a difference. You can refuse to give in to peer pressure or refuse to give up on a prodigal. You can speak out in the voting booth or on the editorial page. When you stand up for God’s standards, you might be surprised—like a small pebble thrown into a large body of water, your words, actions, and prayers can ripple outward if you muster up the courage to take a stand.
Reflection
What women in your community are having a great impact?
Over whom do you have the most influence?
As you reflect on Jehosheba and Queen Margaret, determine how you can inspire those around you for the kingdom of God.

“Prayer Is the Determining Factor “
The more I study spiritual leadership and see how it works in daily life, the more I’m convinced prayer is the determining factor. The difference between mild stirrings and deep breakthroughs is prayer. The difference between a temporary inclination and a lasting change is often prayer. The difference between mediocrity and greatness is frequently prayer.
The more we pray, the more God works. The more God works, the better everything will ultimately be. We fail to recognize the astounding way our omnipotent God has linked His activity to our prayers.
The prophet Ezekiel showed how the prayers of a single intercessor would have been the determining factor in delivering Israel from the Babylonian captivity:
"I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none. So I will pour out my wrath on them and consume them with my fiery anger, bringing down on their own heads all they have done, declares the Sovereign LORD." (Ezekiel 22:30, 31)
Read those verses again, slowly. Think about the fact that one single gap-stander could have stopped the Babylonian captivity. But the last four words of verse 30 tell the sad story—“but I found none.”
Through the years I have found I am not alone in my belief that prayer was the determining factor. This truth is echoed from one end of the theological scale to the other. On one pole of the theological continuum, we have John Wesley (1703–1791), who wrote, “God will do nothing on earth, except in answer to believing prayer.” On the other pole we have John Calvin (1509–1564), who in his Institutes of the Christian Religion states, “Words fail to explain how necessary prayer is . . . while God never slumbers or sleeps He is inactive, as if forgetting us, when He sees us idle and mute.”
Billy Graham (1918–2018) has observed, “Today the world is being carried on a rushing torrent of history. There is but one power available to redeem the course of events, and that is the power of prayer. . . .”
Others have agreed. Slowly read their words:
When we pray we are working with God to determine the future. Certain things will happen in history if we pray rightly.—Richard Foster
When God finds a person who will place as his priority a life of intimate, personal, dynamic fellowship with Him, He directs His power, guidance, and wisdom into and through that person. God has found a man through whom He can change the world.—LeRoy Eims
You and I can help decide which of these two things—blessing or cursing—happens on earth. We determine whether God’s goodness is released toward a specific situation or whether the sower of sin and Satan is permitted to prevail. Prayer is the determining factor . . . If we don’t, He won’t.—Jack Hayford
God has of His own motion placed Himself under the law of prayer, and has obligated Himself to answer the prayers of men. He has ordained prayer as a means whereby He will do things through men as they pray, which He would not otherwise do . . . man has it in his power to by prayer, move God to work in His own way among men, in which way He would not work if prayer was not made.—E. M. Bounds
I don’t fully understand it, but I know that the more we pray, the more God works. The more God works, the better things end up being. On many levels prayer is the determining factor of spiritual leadership.
