Storehouse Community Church

Storehouse Community Church We exist to make disciples who know and live like Jesus in the heart of McAllen.

We are a church that is saturated in the gospel and exists to declare and demonstrate the beauty of Jesus to the heart of McAllen!

As a church, we want to be a people who care for our neighbors and look for opportunities to serve both inside and outside the walls of our church.

One way we’re doing that is through our partnership with Circles of Care, helping support practical needs within our community. If you’d like to learn more about ways to participate, donate supplies, or get involved, we’d love to connect with you.

For more information, please contact Pastor Robert Bernal at [email protected].

“Let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18

We look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday. See you then.

Nine years of God’s faithfulness.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.”

— Psalm 127:1
Nine years of gathering around God’s Word.
Nine years of making disciples.
Nine years of seeing the Lord build His church.

This Sunday, we celebrate all that God has done in and through Storehouse Community Church. From salvations and baptisms to new members, leaders, families, and countless acts of grace, the Lord has been faithful every step of the way.

Before the celebration, we’ll spend a little time serving by cleaning and preparing our sanctuary. So ad soon as the sanctuary is cleared we can enjoy the day together as a church family. Come and enjoy good food and fun!

Address:📍 212 N. 12th St. • McAllen, TX

Come celebrate God’s faithfulness with us as we look back with gratitude and forward with hope. Here’s to nine years of grace—and all that the Lord has yet to do. 🕊️

This past Sunday, we had the joy of installing Pastor Robert Bernal.

A moment of prayer.
A moment of affirmation.
A moment of trusting the Lord’s leading for our church.

God raises up shepherds for His people—
not for status,
but for service.

To preach the Word.
To care for the flock.
To lead with humility and faithfulness.

“Shepherd the flock of God that is among you… not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock.”
— 1 Peter 5:2–3 (ESV)

We’re grateful for God’s provision,
and expectant for what’s ahead.

———
Join us in praying for Pastor Robert,
that he would lead faithfully,
and that we would follow Christ together.

04/29/2026

Join us as we celebrate the educators with joy, community, and gratitude.

Live music.
Raffles.
Good company.

And more than that—
an opportunity to open our lives,
welcome others in,
and share the hope of Christ beyond our usual circles.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord…”
— Colossians 3:23

In a world full of noise,
truth matters.

Not what we feel,
not what we assume—
but what God has said.

The letters of John call us back
to what is simple,
but not shallow:

To walk in truth.
To live in love.
To abide in Christ.

“I write these things to you who believe… that you may know that you have eternal life.”
— 1 John 5:13 (ESV)

Not uncertainty—
but assurance.
Not confusion—
but clarity.

This past Sunday, we gathered to celebrate a risen Savior.

The tomb is still empty.
The victory is still sure.
Christ is still King.

We sang, we rejoiced, and we were reminded again—
our hope is not in what we do,
but in what He has done.

“He is not here, for he has risen, as he said.”
— Matthew 28:6 (ESV)

Resurrection Sunday is not just a moment—
it’s the foundation of our faith.

Grateful for a church that gathers
to remember, rejoice,
and rest in the finished work of Christ.

The grave is empty.
Death is defeated.
Christ is risen.

What was finished on the cross
was confirmed at the tomb.

Not a symbol—
a victory.

“He is not here, for he has risen, as he said.”
— Matthew 28:6 (ESV)

Resurrection Sunday reminds us:
sin does not win,
death does not last,
and hope is alive.

He came riding on a donkey—
not in power, but in humility.

The crowds cried “Hosanna!”
yet missed the kind of King He truly was.

Not a conqueror of nations,
but a Savior of sinners.

“Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
— John 12:13 (ESV)

Palm Sunday reminds us:
Jesus didn’t come to meet our expectations—
He came to fulfill God’s plan.
