You don’t have to have everything figured out today.

Maybe you’re worried about your family.
Maybe money is tight.
Maybe you’re waiting on an answer.
Maybe you’re carrying something nobody else knows about.
Maybe you’re simply tired.

It’s easy to spend all day focusing on everything that could go wrong.

But Jesus invites us to put our eyes somewhere else.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33

Today, don’t try to figure out the next six months.

Just focus on being faithful today.

🙏 Talk to Jesus about what you’re carrying.
📖 Spend a few minutes in His Word.
❤️ Love the person in front of you.
👣 Take the next faithful step.

You may not know what tomorrow holds, but you know the One who does.

Keep your eyes on Jesus.

We are SO excited about this! 🙌

Starting Wednesday night (9/9/26), we’re beginning a 10-week discipleship journey together as a church!

Our goal is simple: to be disciples who make disciples.

Over these 10 weeks, we’ll walk through the foundations of our faith, learn what it looks like to truly follow Jesus, and grow together so that we’re equipped to help others follow Him too.

Whether you’ve followed Jesus for years or you’re just beginning, Basic Training is for you.

📅 Wednesday Nights
🍽️ 6:00 PM | Meal
📖 6:30 PM | Discipleship Study

Make plans now to join us! We believe this is going to be an important season for our church family, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

If you have any questions, just let us know!

Knowing Jesus. Following Jesus. Helping others do the same.

Today we are thankful for Ricky & Allyssa Binkley!

Ricky serves as one of our elders at Mercy Road, and three words describe him well: stable, steady, and faithful. He loves the Lord, loves his family deeply, and has a genuine heart to serve. Whether he is leading as an elder, playing guitar with the praise team, or simply helping wherever something needs to be done, Ricky is dependable and faithful.

Allysa serves on our praise team playing the drums. She is easygoing, willing to jump in wherever needed, and doesn’t get rattled easily. But don’t mistake easygoing for weak. She is fierce and faithful!

Together, Ricky and Allysa are raising two sweet girls, Emerson and Anna Reese, and their entire family is a blessing to our church.

We love the Binkley family, and today we simply want to say…

THANK YOU! We are grateful the Lord has placed your family at Mercy Road! ❤️

Maybe you believe in Jesus, but right now you’re struggling with doubt.

You’re questioning.
You’re unsure.
The weight feels heavy.
And part of you wonders, “Is there really more than this?”

Hear this: Doubt doesn’t make you a bad Christian. It makes you human.

The enemy would love nothing more than to shake your confidence in who you are in Christ. Because when you forget who you are, you’ll live timid, defeated, and silent.

But your confidence was never supposed to be in you.

It’s in Jesus.

“We are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”
Romans 8:37

You are not victorious because you’re strong enough, certain enough, or faithful enough.

You are victorious because Jesus already won.

So what do you do when doubt comes?

• Tell Jesus about it. Be honest with Him.

• Open your Bible. Let truth speak louder than your feelings.

• Remember what God has already done. His faithfulness hasn’t changed.

• Talk to another believer. Don’t carry your doubts alone.

• Keep walking. You don’t have to have every answer to take the next step of faith.

The cross settled your sin.
The empty tomb defeated death.
And if you belong to Jesus, your hope is secure in Him.

So when doubt gets loud, don’t run from Jesus.

Run to Him.

Your doubt doesn’t get the final word.

Jesus does.

No earthly king can give us what only Jesus can.

2 Kings tells the story of the kings of Israel and Judah. Some followed God, many turned away, but none were perfect. Kings came and went. Kingdoms rose and fell.

And it all points us to our need for the one true King, Jesus Christ.

Our hope is not in rulers, presidents, governments, or earthly kingdoms. Our hope is in Jesus.

And our response is simple: keep our eyes on Him, trust Him, and walk in obedience.

Jesus is our King.
Our hope is in Him.
Our response is obedience.

Jesus, keep our eyes fixed on You. Help us trust You above everything else and faithfully walk in obedience to You. 🙏

MISSION MONDAY | Be Present

Sometimes the mission field is closer than we realize.

It may be the person sitting beside you at work.

The student who seems a little quieter than normal.

The friend who stopped showing up.

The person who says, “I’m fine,” but you sense there is more going on.

There is hurt and pain all around us, often beneath the surface, where we cannot see it.
People may be carrying private struggles, hidden shame, grief, fear, or burdens they do not know how to share.

Today, slow down enough to notice people.

Send the text.
Make the call.
Sit and listen.
Pray with someone.
Remind them that they are seen, valued, and loved.

We may never fully know what someone is carrying, but our presence can remind them they do not have to carry it alone.

Jesus consistently noticed people others overlooked. As His followers, we want to do the same.

Notice someone. Check on them. Remind them they matter.

“Bear one another’s burdens...”
Galatians 6:2

SUNDAY RECAP 🙌

“The Truth About Heaven.”
We were reminded that heaven is:

• A REAL place
• A DWELLING place
• A PERFECT place
• A NEW place
• An ETERNAL place

And we got to celebrate TWO BAPTISMS! 🙌 Two people publicly declaring their faith in Jesus and taking their next step of obedience.

God is moving. Lives are being changed. And we are thankful for what He is doing.

Jesus saves. Heaven is real. Eternity matters. ❤️
