Tonight we looked at the final words of Jesus to His disciples before He ascended into heaven. These verses remind us that consistent faith is not just believing in Jesus during good moments it’s following Him daily, trusting Him fully, and living on mission wherever we are.

Tonight at HHSM, we looked at Daniel 6:1-23 and the story of Daniel in the lions’ den. Even when facing pressure, opposition, and danger, Daniel stayed faithful to God through prayer and obedience. His courage reminds us that God is with us when we choose faith over fear.

Today in HHSM

Daniel 3 reminds us that faith stands firm even when the pressure is intense. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow to the world, trusting God no matter the outcome. Their courage in the fiery furnace showed that God doesn’t always keep us from the fire, but He walks with us through it.

Sometimes obedience to God means standing alone, but we are never truly alone when He is with us. The fire that was meant to destroy them became the very place where God’s presence was revealed.

Tonight our students looked at the opening chapter of Daniel and saw what it means to live out a faith that is visible even in difficult environments.

Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah were taken from Judah into Babylon a culture completely opposed to the ways of God. Everything around them was designed to change their identity, values, and devotion. Yet even as teenagers, they chose faithfulness over compromise.

This week, we challenged students to think about who they lean on when life gets hard, where they need encouragement, accountability, or support, and how they can include someone who may feel left out
