What a wonderful sight to see when I walked outside tonight at church after dinner. I haven’t seen this many youth outside our church since before the tornado. God is working and we have to continue to let Him use us! Thank you Lord for all of these children!

So much joy from our Youth Christmas Progressive Dinner!

Last night was full of good food, big laughs, and even better company. From house to house, course to course, we shared stories, celebrated the season, and enjoyed being together as a youth family. Grateful for every home that hosted, every student who came, and the memories made along the way.

Oh me is all I can say! This was much easier with less kiddos last year but so worth doing it with a larger bunch too. I think we have tripled the number of kids from last year. We must be doing something right. We didn’t even get pictures of the cookie decorating and the hot chocolate with all of the marshmallows, chocolate chips, and whipped cream! And did I mention the M&M’s? Check out the picture for an M&M Christmas Story! It was calm and chaos but they had fun and that’s what it’s all about

We can find Jesus in all things if we are willing to look. The kids learned about God’s Love tonight. The poems were made to hand out but we were having so much fun making our crafts I forgot to hand them out. And who can’t use another magnet to remind them that “Jesus’ love is sweeter than candy”!
