For June, Mayfield First is spotlighting A New Beginning For Women and Children, which is a supportive housing program for women in recovery and who are dealing with homelessness to help propel them and their families toward self-sufficient lives.
While we are not collecting communion donations for local organizations and non-profits, we want to share ways our congregation members can help support these efforts through volunteering or direct donations.
A New Beginning for Women and Children is in need of household cleaning supplies, hygiene products, and volunteers to teach soft skills and classes, plus provide transportation. For more information, visit www.anewbeginningfwc.org.
