Sunday Services 8am & 10am - Discipleship Hour 9am First Baptist has a wide array of ministries and activities.

First Baptist Church of Mattoon is a dynamic, caring, growing congregation, and we welcome friends of all ages and backgrounds to join with us as we COME to worship and fellowship, GROW in our relationships with Christ and one another and GO into our world to witness and to serve. We hope that you will take some time to discover more about us and prayerfully consider where you might become involved. A church that is growing and healthy needs people who are devoted to God and active in ministry. It is our prayer that as you learn more about our various ministries you will find places to connect which will help you to grow in your faith and serve in God’s Kingdom. Come join us as we discover together the Joy for the Journey.
