When we respond to the “yes” in God’s heart, He moves powerfully to touch His children. This year’s Mozambique mission from April 17 to May 2 was no different. Our team joined together from 4 different countries (USA, Brazil, Belgium, and Mozambique) to carry the fire of Jesus throughout Mozambique. God moved powerfully and so many were saved, healed, and delivered.
Photo descriptions:
1. A full sweep of salvations, healings, and deliverances at Maline B church plant.
2. The power of the Gospel is unto salvation. The fire of the Lord released over those in Maline B.
3. Our team had the privilege of attending the wedding anniversary celebration of Pastor José and Linda Novela (our partners and friends). They renewed their vows with the wedding ceremony they have always dreamed of having.
4. What an honor to spend time again with Heidi Baker of Iris Global at the reception. God has kept us connected for many years. We also celebrated with the Novela children, Samuel and Sharon Rose.
5. As one big global family, we loved celebrating José and Linda Novela’s 25th wedding anniversary.
6. Salvations and miracles broke out everywhere we went as the Gospel was preached. The Jesus film paved the way to bring an atmosphere of faith and expectancy for healing. The woman pictured testified that the leg pain she had for 2 years is completely gone as she danced in circles. Glory to God!
7. During the outdoor crusade in Coco Missava, Troy released the Gospel and Amanda released healing. Many had eye problems that were healed.
8. Our team had many times of anointed worship, praising our King and contending for all He has in Mozambique.
9. As part of the church plant in Maline B, we met for a Sunday church service under their big tree. Amanda and others led worship and Pastor José spoke about life being solely about Jesus. The crowd continued to grow and grow to fill all the shade space the tree provided.
10. We love praising and celebrating Jesus through dance in every village, and having the crowd join us. In Nhabete, the children joined us in dance that released the joy of the Lord over everyone present. We also had an opportunity to visit Pastor Lazarus’ church (our good friend who helps in translation). Here Denny is sharing with the crowd about the goodness of God and who we are as new creations when we surrender our lives to Christ.
11. Our team went to visit and pray over Frontline’s Land on the Sea that was given to us by a chief. We are excited to begin building soon.
12. In Palmeira, Pastor José is developing Sunshine Iris Soccer Academy. The church has been built, the school rooms are under construction, and pictured here, the medical clinic is currently being built. This is all to benefit the community. You are welcome to support this effort at our website.
13. This micro-enterprise business is a result of the funds we provided Mama Celeste in Nhabete (our 7th time there) for her to begin this endeavor after her husband, Pastor Dinesco, passed away. She is now able to provide for her family as well as the church she leads.
14. Drama can speak so much more than words. Jesus has released all of us from the chains and blindnesses of sin. He also has freed us from pain. Many people here had night terrors and headaches. Jesus came in as they spoke out repentance from connections to witchcraft and received His perfect love that casts out all fear.
15. After a woman’s meeting our team lead in Nhabete, Holy Spirit broke out in our team. This was then followed by a crusade where all the members of our team shared the fiery heart of God’s love. People recieved more fire and healing as Manuel and Kennedy prayed out.
16. This woman is seeing light for the FIRST TIME in 26 years! Initially she didn’t believe God could heal her, then when she received Jesus as her Savior and Lord the shift in her eye began, and we know Jesus is finishing it.
17. These twins are a product of SISA. Miguel and Lourenço were at the Zimpeto center when they were 2 weeks old, but left again a few years later. Pastor José brought them back to be a part of SISA at age 13 years. Now they are a part of the Mozambique National Soccer team and have become FIFA referees. They are now well known across the country. They have also reffed in Angola, Brazil, South Africa, Namibia, Ethiopia. Their heart is for Jesus and seeing the Gospel touch people everywhere.
18. At our final crusade at Pastor Lazarus’ church, there was powerful worship sang together. This led into dancing and celebrating all the Lord has done.
19. While we were in Coco Missava, we held a woman’s meeting. The church was full while the woman were hearing about the faith of Mary & Elizabeth. Our team members had prophetic words for specific people and prayed over everyone present for more of the Lord.
