Mother Angelica Tour Canton Ohio

Mother Angelica Tour Canton Ohio We will take you on an amazing journey through the early life of Mother Angelica in her hometown of Canton, Ohio Born Rita A. Divorce soon followed.

In 1981, Mother Angelica, a cloistered Franciscan nun, launched what has become the largest religious media network in the world; Eternal Word Television Network. EWTN now reaches 264 million homes in 145 countries and over 700 million homes with AM, FM, shortwave radio and internet. It all began in 1923 in a small home in the southeast end of Canton, Ohio. Rizzo, the future Mother Angelica, grew

up in a working class neighborhood during the Roaring Twenties a block away from her parish church. Young Rita had a difficult childhood. Her father, John abandoned the family before Rita was five years old. Life was a struggle for Rita and her mother. Rita’s years of trial were compounded by a debilitating stomach ailment until she was healed by Jesus through a woman named Rhoda Wise. That healing set her life on a course that would ultimately change the world........ Come and see where it all began.

June 21st, we celebrate the Feast of St. Aloysius Gonzaga, the patron saint of Christian youth and caregivers.

Born into a wealthy, powerful Italian noble family during the Renaissance, Aloysius had a future lined with luxury, military glory, and political power. But he wanted something greater. Defying his father’s intense pressure, he signed away his inheritance and joined the Jesuits.

He didn’t just give up his wealth—he gave his life. When a devastating plague hit Rome, Aloysius didn’t run away. He went straight into the hospitals, washing and caring for the dying, until he caught the disease himself and died at just 23 years old.

His life is a powerful reminder that true greatness isn’t found in what the world offers us, but in how radically we give ourselves away for others.

St. Aloysius Gonzaga, pray for us! 🙏

June 13, we celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

While the Sacred Heart of Jesus represents His burning, divine love for humanity, Mary’s Immaculate Heart represents her perfect, unfiltered human response to that love. Her heart is a mirror reflecting the gaze of her Son.

Devotion to Mary’s heart isn’t just about admiration; it’s an invitation to love like she loved. Her heart experienced the highest peaks of joy and the absolute depths of sorrow, yet it remained completely anchored in trust and surrender to God’s will.

When we bring our own broken, anxious, or weary hearts to Mary, she wraps them in her own and leads us straight to Jesus.

Mother Mary, pray for us 🙏

Today, we celebrate the Solemnity of Corpus Christi—the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.

This feast day is our opportunity to step back and marvel at the ultimate gift of love.

Jesus didn’t just leave us with words, memories, or symbols; He left us with Himself.

In every single Mass, the King of the Universe humbles Himself to become our daily bread, sustaining us, healing us, and remaining intimately close to us.
