More than 300 families were just reached in Cuba 🙌

Through local churches and faithful partners, families received support for food, medicine, and daily needs—while believers across regions came together to serve one another in love.

At the same time, prayers were lifted across Mexico City for millions to know the hope of the Gospel.

Across Latin America and the Caribbean, leaders are faithfully serving in the midst of real challenges, yet the Gospel continues to move forward 🙌

At Vision Latin America, we have the privilege of walking alongside pastors and leaders as they plant churches, disciple communities, and bring hope to places that need it most.

Today, we invite you to pray with us:

🏚⛈ We’re asking our community to join us in prayer for our friends in Cuba who are recovering from recent severe storms. Many homes, churches, and neighborhoods experienced significant damage, and ongoing flooding has created health concerns for families already facing challenging conditions.

Please pray for:
• Health and protection for local communities
• Recovery efforts as homes and churches are repaired
• Restoration of electricity and essential infrastructure
• Strength for those caring for neighbors in need

🏚⛈ Estamos invitando a nuestra comunidad a unirse en oración por nuestros amigos en todo el Caribe que se están recuperando de las recientes tormentas severas. Martin Guerena, our Executive Director and Lead Missionary, wants to express his heartfelt gratitude for everyone who prayed and reached out with encouragement. God has been good, and all of the symptoms are mostly gone. He has resumed normal life and ministry 🧡

🙏 Prayer Request for Martin
While traveling in Cuba, our Executive Director and Lead Missionary, Martin Guerena, became very ill with dengue fever. He is now back in the U.S. and feeling much better, though still recovering. We’re grateful for God’s protection and healing—and we’d appreciate your continued prayers as Martin regains his full strength 💚

Durante su viaje a Cuba, nuestro Director Ejecutivo y Misionero Principal, Martin Guerena, se enfermó gravemente con fiebre del dengue. Ahora está de regreso en los Estados Unidos y se siente mucho mejor, aunque todavía se está recuperando.

During Martin’s visit to Castorland, NY, he not only had the opportunity to share God’s Word with the Luz y Vida church family, but also to share life with them.

One afternoon he gathered at Pastor Larry and Linda Moser’s home, where a family from the church brought delicious Guatemalan tamales for lunch 🌽✨ Surrounded by flowers and farmland, they enjoyed fellowship, encouragement, and the joy of community.

We’re grateful for Pastor Larry and Linda’s faithful leadership at Luz y Vida and for the warm hospitality of this wonderful church family. God is doing something special in this community, and it’s a privilege for Martin to walk alongside them 🙏



Durante la visita de Martín a Castorland, NY, no solo tuvo la oportunidad de compartir la Palabra de Dios con la familia de la iglesia Luz y Vida, sino también de compartir la vida con ellos.

Una tarde se reunió en la casa del pastor Larry y Linda Moser, donde una familia de la iglesia llevó deliciosos tamales guatemaltecos para el almuerzo 🌽✨ Rodeados de flores y campos, disfrutaron de comunión, ánimo y la alegría de la comunidad.

Estamos agradecidos por el fiel liderazgo del pastor Larry y de Linda en Luz y Vida, y por la cálida hospitalidad de esta hermosa familia de fe. Dios está haciendo algo especial en esta comunidad, y es un privilegio para Martín caminar junto a ellos 🙏
