Hello fellow beekeepers of the faith!

God is good all the time!

We have started gathering supplies to donate to the Indian Lake community! Our church friends, Rhonda and Anna, donated various hygeine items. Thank you ladies for thinking of our ministry! Our sweet friends Kevin and Melissa also delivered a donation to us this week with towels and hygiene items. I have had some folks say they are happy to help, but this couple has shown us over and over that they care about our ministry and want to be involved in the Lord's work! Thank you for your generous donation! My little crew and I used our funds to purchase totes, toilet paper, diapers, baby wipes, trash bags, disinfectant wipes, detergent, waters, and applesauce pouches. We also had toothbrushes and toothpaste left over from our recent care bag collection that will also be donated. We would also like to send homemade prayer cards with our donations to not only share our love, but more importantly, share Jesus with those impacted by this tragedy. I plan to make a delivery Monday and will continue to make trips as items are received! I have attached a screenshot of a recently posted list of needed items. If you have any items to donate or would like to make a monetary donation to purchase more supplies, please reach out to me to make arrangements! Please continue to pray for the Indian Lake community and all of the volunteers, workers, and first responders that continue to lend a helping hand!

Hello fellow beekeepers of the faith!

God is good all the time!

That feels like an odd start to this post which shares the tragedy our community and surrounding areas have faced in the last few days, but God is still good! In 2021, the Newsboys released a song called "I Still Believe You're Good" which serves as an excellent reminder that "even in the valley, I still believe You're good" and "even when I can't see, I still believe You're good" because "You keep every promise, every word is true. There's beauty from the ashes in everything You do." Our local friends know that communities around us have recently experienced disaster and tragedy caused by terrifying tornadoes. For our friends following at a distance, these tornadoes touched down in 11 different counties with Indian Lake in Logan County experiencing the worst damage with many casualties and homes devastated. With the help of other pages that have been created for recovery efforts, we have compiled a list of items that we would like to collect to donate to the Indian Lake community:

- Water
- Blankets
- Batteries
- Towels and washcloths
-Toiletry items (shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.)
-Diapers and wipes
-Baby formula
-Flashlights
-Trash bags
-Duct tape
-Snacks and drinks for first responders and linemen

We are willing to deliver these donations as they become available, but would like to collect items over the next couple of weeks. Please reach out to me to organize a drop-off or pick-up time for any donations. We would also like to schedule time to volunteer as a group because what the community really needs are helping hands not just helping hearts. Please pray for those who are without basic needs like food and shelter and pray for the volunteers who are stepping in to fill those needs. We have seen post after post sharing the impact surrounding communities have made through donations, helping hands, and good old-fashioned love and support. We want to follow suit and show our love for those impacted and those spreading kindness through the love of Jesus. All the time God is good! I will say it again and again,
