Consider this one last invitation to swap your weekend chores with s'mores and join us at Lehner's Pumpkin Farm THIS SATURDAY (October 17) from 4-7pm!

You'll find all the details on our website and on our church app, but here's the TLDR version:

There's gonna be hot dogs, hayrides, and plenty of flannel. All ages are welcome, and there WILL be bonus points awarded for anyone who submits better photos than last year's empty nacho basket, group photo minus the actual group, and empty wheelbarrows! 😂

When someone's having a meltdown because their socks feel weird, you feel like you're chasing the sweetest little giggles one minute and dodging flying mashed potatoes the next, and your morning coffee's still in the microwave, long forgotten... it can be tempting to surrender to the overwhelm and throw in the towel!

(Or... hide in the pantry with a snack. Alone.)

But the occasional feeling of loneliness and defeat is exactly why The Village exists! Because you're not meant to "survive" these days alone. While we wouldn't trade these years for anything, sometimes it takes a village to fully appreciate the highs and lows of parenting young children!

Comprised of parents in the thick of raising little ones, building a home, and navigating this chaotic, but oh-so-wonderful season of life, The Village meets every 1st and 3rd Sunday to give YOU a place to just... breathe.

No need to pretend everything is polished. No pressure to have it all together. Just real conversations about life and faith among adults who actually speak in full sentences! 😉There's room for you at the table--come pull up a chair!

Our Ladies' Prayer Group meets the SECOND Tuesday of every month at Jody's house, and all women (ages 18+) are invited to participate--you can even bring a friend, if you'd like!

The pedal carts are waiting for you and your family at Lehner's Pumpkin Farm--not this Saturday, but NEXT (October 17).

Who knew a Fall Family Fun Night could be this much fun?! There's a ton of activities for kids (and adults, as you can see), plus we'll have a fire pit stocked with hot dogs and s'mores!

We've loaded the details into our church app or you can find them on our website, but there's no need to RSVP. Just show up and let 'em know you're with us to get the discounted rate.

Who's up for some hiking NEXT WEEKEND (October 17)?

This 5-week Collective steps off at 8am Saturday morning. We'll carpool to Highbanks Metro Park in Lewis Center, hike the 5-6 mile trail, and then decide as a group whether to return to the church or stop somewhere for coffee or brunch!

So far it looks like the weather will cooperate, but we'll keep the app updated in the days leading up to the event, should that change!

As the holiday season quickly approaches, we're at the point where we need to decide whether we'll be opening our 18-hole, indoor, Christmas Movie-themed miniature golf course... or not. And quite frankly, that depends on you!

Along with team members willing to work the hospitality side of this festive, family-friendly experience, in order to greenlight The Christmas Open 2026 we need at LEAST four hole sponsors.

We've got holes that have all the pieces/parts and just need someone to "assemble" them. We've got holes that we have ideas for, we just need someone to flesh them out and carry them to completion.

And we've got holes where you'd have a completely clean slate to work with--perfect for anyone who's got the ideas, the creativity, and the time to put something together for us.

If you love Christmas, this is your time to shine. If you love watching families make memories together, YOU could help play a role in creating that opportunity. And if you just want say, "Hey, put me in Coach!"--there's room at the holiday table for you, too.

Our go/no-go deadline is October 10.
