Words of calling and blessing for the week ahead. ⭐
"Here I Am, Lord" by Dan Schutte (United Methodist Hymnal #593) reminds us both of God's call to us to represent goodness and light in the world, as well as God's ongoing presence with us as we meet the call.

"I who made the stars of night,
I will make their darkness bright.
Who will bear my light to them?
Whom shall I send?"

In the song, we are invited to answer "Here I am Lord... I go where you lead me." 🎶

May you follow a sense of God's leading this week.

Hello Friends! I know this is last minute - but we were asked to pull together a song to sing this Sunday at all 3 services (it is graduation Sunday). You all are so talented that I know pulling a song together will not be an issues - but finding the time to practice may be.. so I will be at the church tonight at 7 p.m. and would love for any / all of you and any friends that you would like to bring to meet me at the church to pick a song and sing Praises to God with us.. We could also meet Saturday morning around 10 a.m. if you would like too (treats would be provided Saturday - maybe I could beg leadership for treat money tonight too if you can come sing with me)... please let me know

Ok my beautiful friends -
So we will not have a choir practice / party today. We will have one and hopefully be able to have more friends participate in late April or May.
However we will sing tomorrow at the Easter Celebration at 1230.
So we will practice at 11.
I am excited to have any and all of you that can sing with us Singing and Praising HIM together tomorrow!
You don't have to wear red - it is St Patricks Day so if you want to you can wear green - that feels more spring than red anyway.

See you tomorrow at 11.
Please spread the word to any that can be there. (if you can't be there at 11 and want to sing - come at 12 and I'm sure you talented musical kidos can pick up on the song quickly :-) -

Ok - Next Sunday we sing for our Easter Celebration event is on 3/17, 12:30-2:00. Probably "I Will Rise" and one other song. We are planning on having a food / practice party on Saturday 3/16 - I know that all of my Swingers Unlimited are out - but I hope you can still join us - practice with us at 11 and then sing at the celebration at 1230! We will talk about getting back in to the Sing of Things after Easter! For the celebration on the 17th - please bring any friend to the party on the 16th to prepare - any and all are welcome to sing even if just for this one time! Looking forward to reconnecting with all of you!!

Ok all – I do hope that we can get our choir back singing praises again soon – but unfortunately I am not available this Sunday at 11 a.m. either.
So Please stay tuned and we will reconnect sometime.

I know that we will definitely not have practice the first week in March either (I will not be in town that day)…
Maybe next week? I think that is the 17th or 18th – maybe then we can sing together – for those that can still make it at 11…
Maybe eventually we will have a Fri evening pizza party practice again

Ok Dear choir - there will be no choir tomorrow - I can't be there - sorry. There has been another request to change the time from 11 a.m. - so that some of you can go to worship at 11 if you do not go to 930. I am open to suggestions. How many of you are available at 3:30 p.m.? for an hour and then you can go to Youth Praise Band if needed.. Let me know your thoughts.... love you all!

Don't miss our very first News Years Eve Family Celebration! We are getting together for a pizza potluck from 6 to 730. We will dance (chicken dance is likely to among the fun tunes) - and we will have an early countdown and ball drop at 730. This is for all families and all ages (and so nice for those with little ones to get in on the News Years fun and get to bed at a decent hour so parents can have their time too!:-) Hope to see you in the gym at church (FUMC - Burnside family life center)!
- and no practice this week or next! Love you my darling Choir - you are amazing and I can't wait to sing with you again!!
