"Where water flows, equality grows." Today is World Water Day. This year's UN campaign focuses on safe water and sanitation as human rights and critical enablers of gender equality. Globally, more than 1 billion women lack access to safetly managed drinking water services. Women make up just over one-fifth of the water sector workforce and remain underrepresented in decision-making roles. It's time to center women and girls in water solutions.
