Today, the Mt. Zion AME Church family pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. We hold their families—especially the Gold Star families in our Martinsville and Henry County community—in our prayers today.

We are eternally grateful for the lives given so that we may live in peace and freedom. May we honor their memory by striving to build a more loving, peaceful, and united world.

Action: Join us in leaving a word of prayer or the name of a loved one you are remembering today in the comments below. 🙏🇺🇸

This Pentecost Sunday, we celebrate the birth of the Church and the fire of the Holy Spirit that unites us all. From the very beginning, the Spirit blew past every barrier, speaking a language of universal love and hope.

As we wear our red this Sunday, we pray for a fresh wind of spiritual renewal in our hearts, our church, and our Martinsville community. How is the Spirit calling you to be a voice of peace and encouragement today?

Action: Join us for worship this Sunday at 11:00 AM in person or live on YouTube! Remember to wear RED to celebrate! 🔴🔥

📅 Day 40 — Keep Yourself in God’s Love
đź“– Jude 1:21
"Keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life."

📝 Devotional:
As we finish this journey, we’re reminded to stay in God’s love. It’s not about earning it — it’s about remaining in it. We do this by staying close to Him, obeying His Word, and keeping our hearts open. His love is our anchor, our fuel, and our home. Living out love means returning to the source daily and letting it overflow into the world.

đź’ Reflection Questions:
- What have you learned about God’s love over these 40 days?
- How will you continue to live out love beyond this devotional?
- What rhythms can you build to stay rooted in God’s love?

🤝 Love in Action:
Write a prayer or journal entry thanking God for His love and reflecting on how you’ve grown over the past 40 days. Commit to one way you’ll continue living out love in the days ahead.

🙏 Daily Prayer:
Father, thank You for walking with me through this journey. Your love has changed me, challenged me, and carried me. Help me to remain in Your love and to live it out every day. Let my life be a reflection of Your heart. Amen.
